How to turn off twitter updates on blackberry ?

You can turn off updates on your blackberry phone.

To change your mobile update preferences from your phone, simply send a text message with the word  "OFF" to your Twitter Code.

Twitter Codes are  :

US: 40404
Australia: 0198089488 (Telstra customers)
Canada: 21212
UK: 86444 (Vodafone, Orange, 3 and O2 customers)
India: 53000 (Bharti Airtel customers)

If you're using a two-way short code, Twitter will reply to let you know your preferences have been changed.
Sending "OFF" once means you will not receive Tweets, but you will still receive Direct Messages. Sending "OFF" twice means you will not receive any messages from Twitter. Send "ON" to turn updates back on once they've been turned off.
