We can transfer data from pc to laptop or vice-versa using cable called null modem cable.
It is commonly called a "Lap-link" or null-modem cable.
A couple of things to keep in mind about using it this way, first it will be slow very slow, and second you can't really use it to install, but you can copy the install files across the link and then install after they are copied.
