How to change country code in blackberry mobile?

This is one of the most common problem for the Blackberry users all around the world.

You need to do following steps to change default country code of your mobile :-

Step 1. press menu key

Step 2.choose options

Step 3. Smart dialing

Step 4. Change country code from +1 to your need such that +91 or other.

If you are not finding "smart dialing" in options menu then you need to open call logs and press menu key.

you will find smart dialing there.

    You are great. Thank you. I spent 2 day trying to figure out how to do this, since the option menu in the 8120 does not have "smart dialing", it's in the call logs.

    Thanks to the author for the instructions, you saved my day

    If you cant find smart dialing, do this:
    Go to your call Log
    Click Menu
    Choose options
    Scroll down - u will see smart dialing,
    the first choice is country code, change your country code there..

    I tried to search on blackberry customer support to find how to change country in 8800 but they could not help me. Your post helped me. The important part of your post that solved my problem was to go through call log if smart dialing option is not available.

    You Can Change Your Country code By Following Step :

    1 Go To Dialed No. List.
    2 Press Menu Key and Select Option.
    3 Then Select Smart Dialing.
    4 Change Country code to Your Country Code.

    5 Than Select NO for "Use "1" For National Dialing.

    and Save The Changes.
